Our reporters have been making powerful people uncomfortable. Alexandria Jacobson documented an Iraq War veteran — a U.S. citizen — detained by ICE, and exposed a Supreme Court corruption case that legal experts say dwarfs anything that's come before it. Jordan Green tracked a Pentagon Marine tied to a death threat against a sitting cabinet member, and reported the FBI arrest of an ex-Marine Nazi leader who had been urging the execution of federal judges. Capitol Hill reporter Matt Laslo has been getting senators on record about what's really happening inside the GOP — including the conversations they'd rather stay private.
